FCIA Featured in Italian Chocolate Industry Publication
The Fine Chocolate Industry Association (FCIA) is proud to share that our organization and Board President Sander Wolf were recently featured in an international article published in Italy. The piece, titled “Choco-Market: Price Increases Push Toward Premium” by journalist Andrea Guolo, was the cover story in Dolcesalto and explores global cocoa trends, rising costs, and the growing shift toward premium chocolate production.
In the interview, Sander discussed the evolution of the fine chocolate market highlighting how small and medium-sized producers around the world are adding more value at origin by transforming cocoa into liquor or finished bars. His comments underscored FCIA’s mission to support ethical, sustainable, and high-quality chocolate production worldwide.
While the article focused on the Italian market, it also recognized the global movement toward premium chocolate and FCIA’s vital role in representing artisans, innovators, and educators across more than twenty countries.
This international spotlight is a wonderful acknowledgment of our members’ collective work and passion for fine chocolate. We’re excited to see the FCIA name shared across borders and industries — proof that the fine chocolate movement is growing stronger every day.
